Schmetz Topstitch Needles 80/12

Finally got perfectly even stitches on some thick denim seams that always gave me trouble before. The larger eye handled the heavy thread without any shredding or snagging.

My double needle wasn't cutting through denim at all, but these 80/12 topstitch needles glide through it and keep the stitch line perfectly straight. Finally getting those clean, even topstitches I was aiming for.

Switched to these 80/12 topstitch needles for a heavy denim project and the stitch lines came out perfectly straight, even with thicker thread. No skipped stitches or breaking, which was a constant problem before.
