Pellon Decovil 526 Stabilizer Interfacing

The second I pressed my iron onto this Decovil it fused perfectly without shifting, and it gives my tote bag sides that leather-like structure without the weight. It handles needle punches well but you definitely need a heavy duty machine needle to get through it cleanly.

I’ve been using this to reinforce bag bottoms and the leather-like stiffness is exactly what I needed. It’s tear-resistant but still cuts cleanly with scissors.

Finally, an interfacing that actually holds its shape like leather without fighting my needle. The iron-on bond grabbed instantly and stays put, which saved me so much time on this bag project.
