Dritz Black Thread Elastic 30yds

The thread was surprisingly easy to work with on my delicate cotton voile, the thin width made gathers look really subtle and professional. I’ve already used it for two shirring projects and it held up perfectly through the machine without snapping.

Used it for shirring on a lightweight cotton blouse and the gathers came out delicate and even, exactly the look I wanted. The thread is thin enough to blend into the fabric but still held up through a full wash cycle without snapping.

This elastic thread is so thin it disappears into the fabric, yet it holds shirring perfectly on my lightweight cotton projects. I used it for a delicate gathered waistband and was amazed at how subtle the result looked.
