The Spring Sling bag is a quilted, barrel shaped bag, that will appeal to both traditional & modern quilters, and bag makers alike. This will look wonderful either in bright spring colors, or rich jewel tones with a dark main fabric. It's easy, fun, and very fast to make up.

The finished bag will have a zipper pocket, that creates a second divider pocket, bag straps attached through grommets, and an adjustable cross-body strap.

Joshua Z. ★★★★★

I’ve been sewing bags for years and the quilted barrel shape in this pattern gives such a polished finish with minimal fuss. The instructions for that curved opening were surprisingly clear, even for a first-time bag quilter like me.

Brian G. ★★★★★

The instructions for quilting the barrel shape were clear and the finished bag holds its structure beautifully. I used bright spring prints and it turned out even cuter than I expected.

Riley ★★★★★

The quilted barrel shape gives it such a lovely structured look, and the pattern instructions were crystal clear even for a beginner bag maker. I’m already planning a second one in fall colors.
