The stretch in this mesh makes it way easier to sew around curved pocket openings than the stiff stuff I used before. I cut a couple of see-through panels for my project bags and can finally tell what's inside without unzipping everything. The black hides stray threads nicely too.

I was worried 18 inches would be too narrow, but it turned out perfect for the side pockets on my duffel. The stretch is subtle enough that it holds shape without sagging, and you can see everything inside at a glance. Way better than the stiff mesh I used on my last project.

I was a little worried the black mesh would look cheap, but it’s actually got a nice, subtle sheen and just the right amount of stretch. Used it for the see-through pockets on my sewing tote and the 18x54 size was enough for three big panels. It’s lightweight but feels sturdy enough for daily use.
