Finally, a base coat that does what it’s supposed to. The powder dissolves into a smooth layer quickly, and my colors don’t soak into the project’s surface like they used to. Definitely worth the few extra minutes of prep.

I’ve been using this as the base coat for my leather tooling projects, and it really does keep the dye from soaking straight into the material, so the color stays even. It dries fast enough that I can layer on the next step without waiting forever, and a little bit goes a long way.

My paint glides over this base coat instead of soaking straight into the paper, and that extra layer really makes the colors pop without muddying up. Used it on a few cards and the difference is night and day.
